The Saderat Bank of Iran has been removed from the blacklist of the European Union’s financial system.
The European Court of Justice had unfrozen assets of the Mellat Bank of Iran earlier. The bank demanded a compensation of its losses. All the bank’s legal fees and losses since June 2010 had been compensated by the EU.
