Inflation in Georgia totaled 0.3% in January. Prices for food and non-alcohol drinks increased by 2.6%, prices for milk, cheese and eggs increased by 4.2%. Prices for vegetables and gourds increased by 14.7%.
Prices for electricity and gas dropped by 6.9%.
Georgia had deflation in December.
Consumer prices increased by 1.2% in January, compared with December. Russian inflation in January totaled 1%.
