Attendants of the Euronest PA in Baku are discussing a report by Gerben-Jan Gerbrandy, a member of the United Group of European Socialists from Denmark, and Georgian MP David Onoprishvili about energy security of the Eastern Partnership, 1news reports.
Azerbaijani Minister for Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, SOCAR Vice President Elshad Nasirov and Vice Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament Valekh Aleskerov are expected to make speeches.
The committee for political affairs of Euronest will have a session in Tbilisi on February 13, the committee for economic integration will have a session in Kishinev on February 14-15.
A report on regional security will be presented in Georgia and a document on harmonization of law for economy of the Eastern Partnership states and the EU will be discussed in Moldova.
The Euronest PA includes 110 MPs. 60 of them come from the European Parliament and 10 per Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.
