The European Commission is interested in an investment decision for Shah Deniz-2, as stated by Paul Abreau Marques, director of the section for international relations and enlargement of the European Energy Directorate, at the 3rd session for realization of the memorandum of understanding for energy held in Baku today, abc.az reports.
The investment decision would become the most important within the framework of the plan for development of the Southern Gas Corridor. Marques welcomed signing and ratification of the TANAP deal of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The final decision for Shah Deniz-2 is expected in October 2013.
