Tkachev proposes financing of flights to Kuban's resort

The governor of Russia's Krasnodar region, Alexander Tkachev, has proposed subsidy assistance for flights to the region's resorts for Russia's citizens, RIA Novosti reports.
Accroding to Tkachev, a flight from Yekaterinburg to Sochi costs three times as much as a flight to Antalya (Turkey). He noted that in the near future, the Kuban resort will compete with foreign resorts and so the region should improve its tourist facilities and become more attractive for the Russian tourists.
