Iranian oil-company purchases 16 drill towers

The deputy director of the Iranian oil company Abdolbagi Gofrani has announced that the company has 20 drill towers and is planning to purchase 16 more next year, Iran news reports, citing IRNA.
Gofrani noted that the project is opened for private investment. The new drill towers will be operated at newly developed oil-fields. It is expected that by 2015 the amount of daily oil production will reach 500 million barrels, and gas production will rise to 500 million cubic meters a day.
