Gazprom increases gas supplies to Turkey - 1

On July 22nd 2010, Turkish company Botas asked Gazprom to increase gas supplies via the ‘Blue Stream’ pipeline from 14 to 22 million cubic metres daily. It could be to receive 32 million cubic metres to replace Iranian gas supplies, which were halted due to an explosion on the pipeline, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Russian gas holding. Gazprom agreed to provide more gas.
