he Armenian main civil aviation department has confirmed an incident with a Russian plane belonging to ‘Aeroflot’, flying on Sunday between Yerevan and Moscow. A bird flew into the plane’s engine, RIA Novosti reports.
According to News Armenia, citing the department’s press-secretary Nelli Cherchinyan, the plane returned to Yerevan's ‘Zvartnots’ airport. No one was injured in the incident. The passengers used an alternative flight to Moscow. The plane was checked for damage and went back into service.
