The Chechen Republic has prepared proposals for a draft of a project on the development of the North Caucasus Federal District. According to the press service of the head of the republic, the measures proposed in the plan are estimated at 360 billion rubles, Rosbalt reports.
According to Chechen Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Eli Isayev, work on a program proposed by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has been completed in time.
The documents will now be directed to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia for their adjustment and integration into a comprehensive strategy for the North Caucasus Federal District.
Isayev said that attention will be paid in the first place to industry, hydropower, construction industry, utilities, the printing industry, transportation, light industry, health, and tourism development.
The documents will be considered at a meeting on March 25 to be attended by the heads of governments of all the North Caucasus Federal District’s republics.
