The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has rounded up its oil and gas extraction of 2013.
Azneft, a SOCAR company, extracted 525,988 tons of oil, exceeding the plan of 518,000 tons by 1.5%. It extracted 580,633 tons of oil in January with a plan of 573,500 tons. A total of 1,106,621 tons of oil were extracted in January-February. 1,101,000 tons were sold to consumers.
The company extracted 490.291 million cubic meters of gas, exceeding the plan for 479.7 million by 2.2%. 483.566 million cubic meters were extracted in January, exceeding the plan for 477.32 million by 1.3%. A total of 973.857 million cubic meters of gas were extracted in January-February and 980.137 million were sold to consumers.
