Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH (NIC) and Trans-Anatolia Gas Pipeline (TANAP) have signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in development of the Southern Gas Corridor.
Nabucco-West will be a 1300-km pipeline running from the Turkish-Bulgarian border to Austria’s Baumgarten. It will transport Shah Deniz gas to Europe through Turkey. Its initial capacity will total 16 billion cubic meters a year with 6 billion of them for Turkey.
