Turkish Minister of Development Cevdet Yilmaz said that the country’s GDP per capita totaled $10,500. The goal is to reach $13,000 per capita to become one of the world’s richest states.
Yilmaz noted that the goal will be achievable in 2015-2016. Turkey’s GDP has increased by 248% (from $230 billion to $800 billion) in the last 10 years.
