The ship "Vasilius", sailing under the Georgian flag, has been detained in a Libyan port. According to Georgia Online, citing the Georgian Foreign Ministry, there were 11 crew-members, 4 of them Georgians, the others Azerbaijani and Ukrainian.
The vessel belongs to a Greek business which supplies cement to Libya. The sailors said that they were hit by a storm and some of the cement was ruined. The Libyan company receiving the cargo demanded the vessel be detained. The Italian company that sent the cement paid for the damage. The sailors will be released soon.
