Russian government to limit growth of prices for housing and utilities services

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has ordered his deputy Dmitry Kozak to keep the fees for housing and utilities lower before March 25, 2013, RIA Novosti reports.

The expenses will not increase more than by 6%, compared with the fees of December 2012. The fees in Q2 2013 will not increase by over 12%. But this does not include the fees for electricity and gas which may increase by 15%. The military and municipalities paid half the average regional fee in December 2012.

President Vladimir Putin expressed criticism of growing fees in late February, saying that they were unjust.
