Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has ordered the Ministry for Textile Industry, association of food industry and Trade Ministry to grant Afghanistan humanitarian aid for Nowruz.
The two states are building the Atamirat-Imamnazar- Akina-Andkhoy railway line, an energy project to increase exports of electricity to Afghanistan five-fold (Turkmenistan exports 325 million KW/h annually to Afghanistan).
The Ashkhabad Agreement was signed in December 2010 for construction of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India Gas Pipeline (TAPI).
