Azerbaijan boosts volume of rail shipping operations

Azerbaijan plans to increase the volume of shipping operations via railroad by 48% by the end of the year, Vesti.az reports.
According to the main engineer of the Azerbaijani state railroad company, Gurban Nazirov, the increase will equa 18% in the first half of the year, while by the end of the year this figure will reach 30 million tons of goods. About 80% of goods were transported via the TRACECA corridor.
