A schedule of rocket launches from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in 2013 was finally agreed today between Russia and Kazakhstan, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said. "There is no disagreement between us. We have fully agreed on the 2013 schedule," he said after a meeting of the Russian-Kazakh intergovernmental commission on the use of the Baikonur complex.
Shuvalov said that from now on the schedule for launches will be agreed between the two countries every year, and for two or three years ahead. "We agreed that in 2014-2015, the number of starts will be agreed by the Kazakh side. This will be done before September 1," Interfax quoted him as saying.
