The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has started drilling two oil wells at the Guneshli Field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, Trend reports.
Drilling was ordered by the 28 May Office and is being realized by the Trust of Complex Drillworks of the SOCAR. The borehole at the Guneshli-10 platform will be 3000m deep.
100 tons of oil will be extracted daily. 150,000 cubic meters of gas and 15 tons of condensate will be extracted at the Guneshli-14 platform at a depth of 3750m.
The SOCAR develops Guneshli with foreign companies taking part in the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Field.
