A Russian An-24 plane made an emergency landing at the Cairo International Airport at 1.00 am today, RIA Novosti reports.
It was flying from Sudan and needed refueling, because it was not allowed to land at the Cyprus. Some media reported that it was a combat jet. The Russian Defense Ministry said that no flights of military jets have been made in North Africa the past days.
