Azerbaijani Minister for Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev said at the Caspian European International Business Club that shipments of Ukraine will be renewed.
Ukrainian Minister for Energy and Coal Industry Eduard Stavitsky expressed interest in Azerbaijani oil and proposed swap trade using Russia. Aliyev said that some technical issues and transportation expenses made swap operations in 2014 problematic.
Azerbaijan stopped oil shipments to Ukraine in 2012, because formation of the Customs Union and Russian oil shipments to Belarus reduced expenses.
