Iran plans to build 15 new dams by the end of the current calendar year which ends in Iran on March 21, 2014, the director of water management Mohammad Haj Rasoulih said today.
He added that the total volume of reservoirs to be built will be about 6 billion cubic meters. The current volume of existing dams is 52 billion cubic meters, IRNA reports.
