Iranian Minister of Oil Ali Reza Zeygami said that $46 billion will be invested in the building of new oil refining plants (about $26 billion) and in the reconstruction of old ones. Most Iranian oil plants were built before 1979 by American companies were not reconstructed due to sanctions.
