Ashkhabad is hosting talks on the agreement for preservation and rational use of biological resources of the Caspian Sea on April 11-12, Trend reports.
The session was organized by the Turkmen Foreign Ministry and the State Presidential Enterprise for the Caspian Sea. It is attended by Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan.
They will discuss the norms for exploitation of biological resources, sturgeon fishing, coordination of national ecological programs.
Some of the topical goals are monitoring of biological resources and research.
