Ramazan Abdulatipov: Funds must be not stolen, but put into production

Ramazan Abdulatipov, acting President of the Republic of Dagestan, held a number of meetings with the heads of the municipalities of Botlikh, Kayakent and Khunzakh regionsThe goal of the meetings was to discuss the socio-economic situation in the territories under their supervision."We should create family farms and personal part-time farms in the mountain regions. Funds for rural development should be directed to this end. The acting Minister of Agriculture of Dagestan, Bashir Baytemirov, is visiting the Republic of Tatarstan at the moment to explore their experiences in this sphere. The easiest money to steal is in agriculture, in land reclamation and construction. If work in these areas is done properly, there is no need to steal," Ramazan Abdulatipov said."Funding, including federal funding, should reach the regions. Heads of municipalities should be more actively engaged with the problems of their communities and solving people's issues. If all funds allocated by the federal government were to reach the production and people, Dagestan may have different standards of living, despite all the crises," the acting head of the republic said.Ramazan Abdulatipov made it clear to the heads of the municipalities that support from the republic's funds will be provided only to those areas which demonstrate positive dynamics of socio-economic indicators.
