The basic part of the labour pension totals 85 manats. The average monthly labour pension increased by about 5% to 152 manats, the retirement pension increased by 42.5% to 168 manats a month.
Azerbaijan had 1,272,136 pensioners on January 1, 2013. There were 2,351,538 insured individuals with accounts in the State Fund for Social Protection on February 20, which is 37% of the population.
