Iran may start uranium enrichment to 50%

Head of the Iranian Organization for Atomic Energy Fereydun Abbasi Davani said that Iran may start enriching uranium to 50% as soon as necessity arises, RIA Novosti reports.

The official emphasized that no uranium had been enriched to over 20%. The fuel will be used for submarines.
