The reconstruction of the Baksan hydro station damaged during the militant’s attack will be launched by the end of this July and will be completed by 2012, ITAR-TASS reports, citing the RusHydro company’s press office.
Currently experts carry out damage assessment, but the preliminary reconstruction work has already been started. Moreover the station will be modernized and its capacity will increase from 25 MWt to 35 MWt.
