A group of Azerbaijani experts has prepared amendments to improve the mechanisms of deposit insurances.
Azad Javadov, head of the Deposit Insurance Fund, said that they will insure deposits of businessmen, people with loans and credits at the same bank and guaranteed deposits.
The new project includes insurances of legal bodies. The three types of deposits will be insured according to current conditions (deposits worth up to 30,000 manats - $38,230, at a rate of not higher than 12%).
According to amendments, the terms of deposit return was halved to 45 days.
