The Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation has held a tender for construction of 30-kilometres of the main Senaki-Poti pipeline, Business Georgia reports.
Seven companies participated in the tender - SEACOR Environmental Services International LTD, News Energy LTD, Sakmilsadenmsheni LTD, Neftgaztikinti Trust LTD, SAKHIDRO Energomsheni inc, Jsc KHIDMSHENI and?NGSI. The project should be implemented by December 15th 2010.
It is expected that the pipeline will boost development of the free industrial zone in Poti. Construction of a liquefied gas plant in Poti is also scheduled.
