Russia's Bank for Foreign Economic Activity will invest19.5 billion rubles in the construction of a thermal power plant in Adler, Russian Premier Vladimir Putin said at the opening of the monitoring council of the bank.
The total cost of the 360 megawatt power plant is 28 billion rubles. It is planned to be completed in late 2012, Interfax reports.
Putin noted that the construction is carried out within the framework of preparations for Olympic Games in Sochi.
