Gas reserves in the Shah Deniz gas condensate field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, according to initial estimates, may constitute 1.5 trillion cubic metres, Trend cites first vice president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Khoshbakht Yusifzade as sayying.
It had previously been believed that the gas filed could produce 1.2 trillion cubic metres of gas.
