Nabucco West to sign agreement with Shah Deniz consortium

The Nabucco West consortium will soon sign an agreement with the Shah Deniz consortium.

"The agreement will be signed within the next few days," official representative of the Nabucco Gas Pipeline International says.

Currently the Shah Deniz consortium is considering two options for transporting its gas to the European market - Nabucco West and the Trans-Adriatic pipeline. The final decision on the European pipeline is expected to be made by the end of June, 2013.
