Plutonium found in Tbilisi

Aplutonium container was discovered in Tbilisi. The Social Broadcaster of Georgia said that the container haв been kept in one of the storage кщщьы of the former institute of isotopes since 1968, Trend reports.

According to the channel, the plutonium was not registered and the staff did not know about its existence. Specialists say the source of radiation is not a threat to the nearby houses. Georgia will inform the IAEA about the discovery.
