Dagestani acting Minister for Agriculture and Food Bashir Baytemirov said in Makhachkala that the ministry had about 500 million rubles available for agricultural development, RIA Dagestan reports.
Only 22 municipalities have presented programs for development. The program for social development of villages need full coverage of funds, otherwise their authorities will be punished.
Ayganat Efendiyev, deputy head of the territorial structure of the Federal Service for State Statistics in Dagestan, said that validity of statistical data presented by heads of villages was a problem. He noted that the Stavropol Territory had no such problems and proposed replacement of accountability per year with quarter reports.
