The Russian center of Russian language studies at the office of the Russian Cooperation in Armenia organized lessons in Yerevan for the staff of the South Caucasus Railway (SCR), News Armenia reports, citing the press-service of the office.
Two groups of 5 station operators in Yerevan and Giumri had the first lessons. The chief engineer of SCR Sergey Arutiun and the chief engineer of cargo transport of SCR Georgiy Isaakyan noted that studying the Russian language would improve the efficiency of the staff's work.
4 000 of SCR’s staff workers will have 20 classrooms for studies at terminal stations, as well as almost 300 schools along the railways.
SCR is a sister company of ‘Russian Railways’, under concessional control of ‘Armenian Railways’ (AR).
