The Turkish Ministry for Science, Industry and Technologies and the Healthcare Ministry plan to increase investments in pharmaceutics and medical equipment, Trend reports.
Minister for Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergun said that they will increase production of deficit medicaments that the country has to import.
Turkey has 68 enterprises producing medicaments. 15 of them have foreign investments. They produce over 3,000 types of medicaments.
