The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) does not intend to work on projects in Iraq, neither in the oil and gas sector, nor in any other sphere, head of the SOCAR press office Nizameddin Guliev told APA. Several information agencies earlier reported that SOCAR would participate in several projects in the northern Iraqi towns of Mosul and Kirkuk.
