North Caucasus Development Corporation to invest 10 billion rubles

 

The North Caucasus Development Corporation (NCDC) will invest over 10 billion rubles in project in the North Caucasian Federal District before 2015. It has 7 projects developed in the region.

It launched the IRRICO project for plant-growing to boost irrigation and production of aluminum slugs in the Stavropol Territory. The corporation will build the MinvodyEXPO exhibition center in Kavkazskiye Mineralniye Vody in February 2014.

The complex information system for monitoring of investment projects of the NCFD will be launched in June 2013, allowing online monitoring of the projects. Kislovodsk will host the WOMAD Russia Musical Festival for thousands of tourists in September. The music festival will be held in Russia for the first time.

The NCDC will invest over 5 billion rubles in the projects and additional over 22 billion rubles of private investments. Over 5 billion more rubles will be invested before 2015. The corporation will launch 3 more projects in the Stavropol Territory 2 in Kabardino-Balkaria and one per Dagestan, Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia and open over 5,000 workplaces.

Realization of the projects will mean financing of over 60 billion rubles and opening of over 8000 workplaces.

The NCDC was founded in 2010 to attract investments and boost economic development and form new workplaces in the region.
