The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the Georgian Ministry for Labour, Healthcare and Social Protection signed a memorandum of cooperation on Wednesday, the company reports.
According to the document, the SOCAR will pay $115,000 for gas and electricity of 44 orphanages in Georgia in 2013.
The company and the ministry signed a similar memorandum in 2011 to finance 18 orphanages with $55,000 in 2012.
