Tanguy Kosman has become the new head of Statoil in Azerbaijan. The company says that he will take his post on July 1.
Cosman has been working in Baku since 2010. He was the head of Statoil at "Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli" and the project of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline as the vice president of business development in the region. Prior to joining Statoil, Cosman worked for almost 20 years at Bouygues Offshore and Saipem, where he held several senior positions, particularly in Turkey, South Korea, Angola and France.
