Deputy president of Russian Central Bank resigns

 

Victor Melnikov, Deputy President of the Russian Central Bank has resigned over money-laundering accusations after serving for 18 years at the financial institution, RIA Novosti reports.

It has been the first dismissal by President of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina. The dismissal order was filed on June 30.
