BP, Total, SOCAR to join TAP in 30 days

BP, Total and the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) may join the TAP project in 30 days after selection of the route to transport gas from Shah Deniz-2, Trend reports.

Each side may purchase up to 50% of TAP shares. Fluxys (Belgium) has been showing interest in the project.

The TAP was selected as the final route of the Southern Gas Corridor to transport Shah Deniz gas.
