Ukraine banned on Monday the import of pigs and pork from the South, Central and Volga regions of Russia, reported UNIAN, quoting a source in the Ukrainian State Committee of Veterinary Medicine.
The ban was imposed after international veterinary authorities reported several swine plague cases registered in the Volgograd, Saratov and Voronezh administrative territories of Russia.
