Shah Deniz partners to buy 50% of TAP shares

Shah Deniz partners SOCAR, BP and Total will buy 50% of shares of the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, the final route of the Southern Gas Corridor, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev said today.

AXPO (Switzerland) plans to sell part of its 42.5%-share of the pipeline. Exectuvie Director of AXPO Heinz Fischer said that they had doubts about gas volumes planned for Europe in 2020 and wanted to return 80 million Swiss francs.

All negotiations on the Southern Gas Pipeline will be concluded in 2013.
