Two Azerbaijani helicopters sent to Russia to help with fires

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan has sent two helicopters with a crew of 19 people to Russia in order to help with the ongoing wildfires. The aircraft left the international airport "Heydar Aliev" this morning, "Novosti-Azerbaijan" reports.

"Azerbaijani firemen will help with the forest fires near the Russian cities of Voronezh and Lipetsk. They will stay in Russia for 2 weeks", Colonel Ashraf Gasymov, the Commander of the Azeri detachment, said.
