The Azerbaijani tourist complex "Shahdagh" in the Gusar region has opened the summer season today. The head of the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, Abulfaz Garayev, took part in the opening. He acquainted himself with the works carried out, asked about the future construction of the complex, met with workers and representatives of the companies that perform various contract work.
Among them are the main contractor, the Dubai-based DİA Holding, Austrian Doppelmayr Seilbahnen GmbH (construction of cable cars), Azerbaijani Azenko (gas line), Italian TechnoAlpin AG (artificial snow), and the Austrian-Swiss Swiss Town Consult / ILF Consulting (objects engineering).
Until the end of the year three hotels will be completed. Construction of the "Shahdagh" hotel is funded by the state, while two other hotels are funded by the private investor Paşa Holdinq.
