On July 18, the government of Armenia decided to order Sitronix Armenia to organize the country’s first free economic zone at the RAO MARS factory and the Yerevan Research Institute of Mergelyan, PANARMENIAN cites Minister for Economy Vagram Avanesyan.
The official said that the free economic zone will be launched on August 1, 2013, for 10 years. Companies manufacturing electronics, engineering equipment, pharmaceutical products, developing biotechnologies, information technologies, alternate energy sources and communications will operate at the free economic zone.
