Transneft spokesman Igor Dyomin said that the Baku-Novorossiysk Pipeline transferred the first portion of Turkmen oil delivered to the Makhachkala Port.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the order denouncing the Russian-Azerbaijani agreement on oil transfer in May, allowing Turkmen oil to be transferred.
