Rosneft to buy share in Alliance Oil Company

Rosneft is negotiating a purchase of 43.3% of shares of Musa Bajayev in the Alliance Oil Company, a deal discussed for 3 months, Vedomosti reports.

Rosneft postponed the deal because of the debt of $70 billion after purchasing TNK-BP.

Alliance Oil extracts about 3 million tons of oil evert year. It is controlled by the Khabarovsk refinery. Spain’s Repsol owns 51% of the company, licenses for extraction at 14 fields with 171.5 million barrels and 100% of SN-Gazodobycha extracting gas at the Tomsk Region.

Alliance Oil is worth $600 million. Rumours about the purchase of its shares increased the company’s price by 5%.
