North Ossetia have requested support of the federal center to start the boilers operating again, Interfax-South cites North Ossetian Speaker of Parliament Alexey Machnev.
Machnev noted that debts for heating could not be paid instantly. Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk stopped gas supplies for the Vladikavkaz heating network which owes 1.385 billion rubles. 18 boiler centers heating water for hospitals, boarding schools and orphanages lost gas supply.
